Besides those blokes that wrote the Best-Seller ‘The Bible’ not many authors can say their book still sells almost 100 years after it was first published, Dr. Weston A. Price is one of those authors.

Dr. Weston A. Price who founded the American Dental Association wrote ‘Nutrition and Physical Degeneration’, he spent many years researching the beaming health of indigenous cultures from all 4 corners of the globe, through his extensive research Price found that not one of them was completely free from animal products.

There was a lot of variety in the amounts and types of meat consumed – from the Eskimos that lived on 90% animal meat such as seal and whale blubber, to the Indian cultures who consume buffalo and cow’s milk, but never the sacred cow.

Of all of the cultures the blubber-eating Eskimos actually had the lowest incidence of heart disease, that throws the age-old ‘Meat = heart attacks’ theory out the window.

However in recent times with the introduction of processed meats, in particular hot dogs (an Eskimo favourite), heart disease stats are on the increase in these indigenous cultures, are you beginning to join the dots yet?
